Class C homes are frequently more than 20 years old and situated in unfavourable areas. In general, these properties require renovations, such as modernizing the building infrastructure.
In a market containing other Class A or Class B properties, Class C buildings often have the lowest rental rates. For certain Class C assets to provide consistent cash flows for investors, considerable effort is required but these tend to have a lower acquisition rate that will result in profits.
